Choose your own Online / Offline image instead of the default chat bar.
If your website is a WordPress website please follow this procedure.
These are the settings to use this feature in your website.
- Start with uploading the 2 images for the online and offline status to your website, with the right dimensions. Make sure you know the full URLs of both images.
- In the FlexyTalk Control Panel go to the menu menu Chat Box > Chat Bar, and paste the URLs of your online and offline images into the corresponding fields.
Change Visibility to Always Hidden.
Update these settings with the blue Save Changes button.
- Place the following code where you want to locate the live chat image
<img src="" class="flexytalk-img" style="display:none" />
You can add your own classes and styles near the predefined ones.
The result will be:
Your ‘online image’ will be displayed when you are online in your IM Client. If a visitor clicks the image, the chat bar will pop up in online mode, so they can start a chat with your agent. If they don’t click it, it will pop up after the number of seconds you have set in your Trigger Rules settings.
Your ‘offline image’ will be displayed when you are offline in your IM Client. If a visitor clicks the image, the chat bar will pop up in offline mode, so they can send you an offline message.
